~

Now I wanted to show you Little Miss Giraffe that I made especially for Susan. She loves giraffes and now I love making them:)

I made Little Miss Giraffe in the same style as Pink Elly.

A kind of simple, vintage style, with soft, muted colors.

The bow around her neck is a strip of fabric that I cut into strips to use as accessories for my dolls. It has a little stretch to it and it's one of my favorite things to use on my dolls.
No matter how many pretty and different ribbons that I collect, I'm always drawn back to this one.
Then I took a brass rose charm and gave it a light whitewash and attached it to the bow.

She was so sweet looking and fun to make that I've already started another!
Susan was happy, so I'm happy!

Up next, a darling little Reindeer:)
I'm very excited about this one and
can't wait to show you!

Thank you to all my new and previous followers alike, I appreciate you taking your time to stop by
and visit with me!

Hi Everyone! I hope you all enjoyed the Thanksgiving Holiday! There were so many wonderful and inspiring posts out there sharing such great tips and tutorials on how to pull off your best Thanksgiving yet.

I've been working on some custom orders and haven't had a chance to start many Christmas pieces yet. Almost done though!

"Sweet little Bella" is one of my latest pieces.
I will have a cute little giraffe to share with you next!

Enjoy....

xoxo!

Santa and Snowman Whimsies

My first Santa of 2011. It didn't last long in my Etsy shop! I love making Santa's.

His eyes how they twinkled, his dimples how merry....

his cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry....

the beard of his chin was as white as the snow....

let's not forget his little round belly, that shook when he laughed, like a bowl full of jelly!

He has the perfect amount of shimmer, that will light up your Christmas vignette.
He is off to his new home....thanks, M:)

And some Christmas Snowmen.....

they are festive...

and delightful!!

Happy sharing:)!

'Til next time....

Gobble Gobble......

Wow, I accomplished a lot this last week.
I have some new inventory for my Etsy shop that I will be adding soon. I have finished some pieces for upcoming Giveaways coming up this next week. I will keep you posted and let you know exactly when that will take place!

Today though, I have for you Mr. Turkey!

He's a more rustic and primitive piece with a lot of distressed details to him.

One of my favorite things to do to a piece is distress it real good.
This little guy turned out so cute and would make a perfect little addition to a Thanksgiving vignette.

He is handsculpted from Paperclay.

He is thankful to be heading to his new home soon!

And I am so THANKFUL to all my readers and to all the lovely comments I get on my posts!
That's the best motivation ever!
Thank you so much for stopping by and be prepared for lots of glitter and Christmas goodies on your next visit.
