What’s under the cloche?

What is that under the cloche behind my new chair?

P1010638

There’s some little vintage books.

P1010634

There’s some Dog Hobble?
Is that the name of this flower?

Then there’s this little broken doll.

P1010654

My mom found her in their fill dirt pile that I wrote about here.

Remember all those fabulous vintage bottles that they found?

Well, she was buried in there with them.

There’s something about the broken doll that I felt deserved to be displayed.

It’s the perfect spot for now.

So LOVELY... I still can't believe what a WONDERFUL find you had in that pile of dirt.... I still have to find anything exciting in any dirt mounds.... :)

The little doll reminds me of those statues in Greek ruins. Looks really cool! =D

Pretty arrangement under your cloche. The rescued doll part is so sweet. My grandparents tossed their castoffs down their silo. What I wouldn't give to dig through that space today! Unfortunately, they sold the farm years ago. Someone could have a nice treasure hunt there.

So pretty! We call them lily-of-the-valley around here too. The scent just can't be matched. They are the most exquisite little flowers.
